About Me
As a Ph.D. candidate at Penn State University in the Industrial Engineering Department, I conduct research in the Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Analytics, led by Dr. Soundar Kumara, where I specialize in biomedical data science. My current work involves leveraging electronic health record (EHR) data to support early identification and intervention of chronic diseases. I am also leading a manuscript project aimed at improving transparency in EHR-based studies, including the development of a structured rubric to assess methodological rigor and reproducibility across published research. Through my interdisciplinary training and research, I aim to advance the responsible use of real-world data in biomedical research and promote high-quality, reproducible studies that support data-driven decision-making in healthcare.
